MFTSC78 - Bad Connection

Hello Again Hello:
Well, here's my card for the My Favorite Things sketch challenge #78. I love this little boy image. He reminds me of my grandson Zackary. Zack always calls me on his mommie's cell phone and we always lose the signal or there's those annoying breaks in the words. So he always says, "Nana, I think we need to go now because you keep breaking up or we just have a bad connection." He's so smart for a 5 year old! The image is from Hambo. It's a downloadable file.
Thanks for looking...

CCSS3sample - A Little Birdie Told Me...

Hi:
I know it's been a little while since I posted. Truth is, like so many I haven't been feeling up to par. I am still having issues with PLANTAR FASCIITIS in my right foot and the only relief is propping it up. So I have to sit in my recliner. Well, that is not conducive to card making. I felt ok for a while yesterday and realized I hadn't gotten my swap cards made for my yahoo group. Each month I create a sketch for Card_Crafts Group @ Yahoo.com Here is the sketch for May.So I got to thinking and came up with this.
You'll notice I flipped the sketch. That's because the flag is already attached to the birdhouse.
The birdhouse is a digital download from Hambo and the birdie is from PollyCraft. I used Copics, Stampin' Up! and Spica pens on them. Then I came back with Sakura Gelly Roll pen in Stardust Clear ( I LOVE these pens! ) and highlighted a few areas. I had to add the Martha Stewart picket fence border to the bottom. I mean, how can you have a birdhouse without a picket fence?!
PP is from LUXE Designs - Capris/Basil, Bugs are from ProvoCraft - ArtAccentz, Ribbons are from My Minds Eye, CS is Stampin' Up!

I stamped two of Tatiana and her flower. Then I cut her head, body and flower separate and popped them up on dimensionals. Ingredients: Ketto - Tatiana, Spicas, Gelly Roll Stardust Glitter Pen, Basic Grey - pp, K I Memories - pp, recycled ribbon, Copics. I hand wrote granddaughter, Imaginisce - brads

Unscripted Sketches Sketch Challenge #03 - Happy Birthday - Recycled

Hello:
Well I fell really short of creating what I wanted today. But I am having some problems with my right foot and sitting in the same position for a long period of time only amplifies the pain. So, I did get this one card made today for the Unscripted Sketches Challenge. I am very pleased with this card. It's a recycle of a store bought card. I used the face of the card. I then did my own 'thang' with it!
To begin with I used the heart Nesties and cut out my window. Then I used the largest and same size Nestie for my frame. This is the store bought card face which I matted with a piece of pp. It shows through the heart shaped window. The sentiment is cut from yet another store bought card.
If you turn the page you'll see this pp and then on the next page is my hand painted rainbow (Peerless Watercolors) on a sponged background of Momento dye ink. My sentiment is from the inside of the store bought card. Then I used my cops and colored it to look like the sun.
Ingredients: American Greetings - card face and sentiment, Momento - Summer Sky ink, Peerless Watercolors, Basic Grey - pp, K I Memories - pp, recycled ribbon

Saturday's Road Trip More Silly Signs...

Hello:

I didn't make a single card all weekend long. But I did have a fabulous play day on the road on Saturday with my hubs and my good friend Sue Meyer. Here is a sign at what seems to be an out of service produce stand. However, there was a sign here last weekend that read, "SKWASH". I am kicking myself because I didn't get a photo of that one. Now can you guess what these two words are??? Oh and if you look closely down the right hand side of the sign is Mat. What we can't see is er. And possibly and s. Yes that's right, 'MATERS". I'm still laughing at this one. I wanna go back next weekend just to see what they're selling.

Here's a shot of the beautiful roses at Tyler Rose Gardens.
If you live close enough for a day trip you have got to go over ASAP. The roses are fully in bloom at this time. If you wait too long, you'll be too late.

Thanks for visiting. Hope you got a chuckle from my post. I'll be back on Monday with my MOJO card and my Unscripted Sketches card and hopefully my MFTSC#78 card.

Last call for tonight...
This card is for the Caardvarks challenge, THE CHALLENGE Create a *NEW* tree-themed card . No you aren't seeing double, it's the same card. I was trying differnet lighting to try to show the embossing. I stamped my image in Stampabilities Brown. Then I embossed with Sterling Silver powder from Stamp N Stuff.
The first photo shows off the embellies and the body of the card.
This second photo shows off the silver embossing.

FCCC40 & PTWC13 - Genesis 7:56

Yes, I'm back! Today's first card is one of Libby's challenges From Coutrney's Closet #40 & Paper Take Weekly's sketch challenge #13. I hope you can recognize there are 2 giraffes on my card. God said to Noah, "bring the animals 2 by 2..."

I smudged Fresco Vesuvian Ash on my navy ribbed Bazzill cs; you see in the inspiration piece, Courtney is wearing a pair of denim shorts. Giraffes are a Sizzix die. I colored their patterns with Spicas. I used my scalloped oval Nesties for my matte for the little giraffes. Rub-ons are Crate Paper from the Blue Hill Collection. My message for the inside of my card is simply shown in the picture below. Computer generated on whisper white and then matted with lime green Bazzill.

ICSCall & The Pink Elephant challenge #11 - World's Best Mom

Hi Again:
Created for my Design Team Call entry at Inspirational Card Sketches. It's also my creation for The Pink Elephant's Mother challenge.
I've been working on this little number for the past few hours. But I wanted to try making my own box. I was quite pleased that I could make this from scratch.
Here's the deets:
I scored my 12 x 12 Bazzill cardstock at 10 x 10. Folded all four sides and then cut the corners. I used Red Line double sided adhesive to finish off my corners. For my lid I scored 12 x 12 Create Paper at 10 1/4 x 10 1/4 and followed the same proceedure for the corners. I used more Crate Paper on my lid along with a piece of lime green cardstock. I punched all four sides of my Crate Paper piece with Martha Stewart's Zig Zag Border punch. Inside the bottom of my box I adhered another piece of Crate Paper for stability. I cut lengths of various ribbons to wrap my corners. I was sent a link today in e-mail from Mary in my Card_Crafts group for this SCS tutorial on the ribbon bow making process. I gave it a whirl. I like it!!!

My sentiment reads:
A mother is always close
to your heart, whether near
in miles or far apart.

Happy Mother's Day

The left hand tag reads:
World's Best Mom

My mom lives in another state 10 hours away. She loves receiving my cards in the mail. So I made a few for her to send to others and placed them in this box. If I don't get to go visit her and my dad for Mother's Day, I'll mail it to her.

Thanks for Looking!

ICSketches #13 - Mom

Hello!
This card was created for Inspirational Card Sketches challenge #13.
I know I didn't follow the norm on this one but I really liked the sketch so decided to tweek it a little. Instead of doing a circle card I used my Nesties to cut the pinked circle out of some striped cs. Then I embossed another piece of cs and smudged pink ink on the pattern. The Hibiscus is another stamped image that came from my friend Trish Davey. I useed Spicas to color the image. The flowers are all popped up on dots.
Thanks for looking. I appreciate all who stop in and visit a while and leave comments.

MOJO MONDAY #83 & JCI #33 - Cattitude!

Hi There!
I decided to tackle a couple of challenges in 2s simply because there are sooo many I want to play with! That said, here's a 2 - fer you might enjoy. This is my take on Julee's MoJo Monday Challenge #83 sketch. Ah, but it is also my take on Stacey's Jewelry Inspiration Challenge #33. For Stacey's color pallette she chose Real Red, Regal Rose, So Saffron, Blush Blossom, & Whisper White. All my cardstock is Stampin' Up! The stamps are from Inkadinkadoo - Cats. My cat bird is an old earring. I used both Martha Stewart and Stampin' Up! border punches. I stamped 'Cattitude!' once in real red and once in Black to create a shadow.

Cuttlebug-ers #22 - Special Delivery

What's new?!
I love this card! The challenge Steph set up for us this week at the PCP Cuttlebug-ers challenge is to create a card or scrapbook page that is NOT square or rectangle but that has a shape. My shape came from my Cricut Sampler - Basics/Foundations Cartridge. I cut the onesie in baby blue twice. Then I hand cut the sage green leaving the shoulder hinged. I stamped my image and then embossed with Swiss Dots folder. Colored with Copics, Spicas and Stampin' Up! markers. 'Special' snap tag is Melissa Frances and the flower is Imaginisce. 'Delivery' is computer generated.I think this image is so cute, I didn't do a lot of embellies because I didn't want to take away from the little bear and the onesie itself. Inside: So tiny, so small, so loved by all...

The back has another blue onesie.
Hope you like it! TFL

Another 2 - fer : Family Tree

Hi!
Bloggers Challenge #95 & Creative Belli Challenge #63 BC95 is a color challenge using Artichoke, Chocolate, Sage, Sahara Sand - neutrals. The CBC63 challenge is to create a card with dry embossing any of the following techniques are acceptable: using your Cuttlebug folders, the new Stampin Up embossing folders, or a brass stencil with a light box and stylus. I used my Cuttlebug first to emboss with the Swiss Dots folder. Then I ran my cs through again with my D'Vine Swirls. I used my Pinked Circle Nesties to cut my window & frames and then I embossed them as well. The little tree stamped was stamped in Stampabilities - Brown ink for the trunk by masking off the tree top. Then stamped the top in Stampabilities - Christmas Green by masking off the trunk. I used Martha Stewart border punch for the bottom of my focus piece. My JustRite Stamps for my sentiment. That's a piece of scrap chipboard I found lying around I colored with my Copics G99. Flower and ribbon came from Keep In Touch kits.

CPS112 & CCTC56 Floral Fantasy - Dream/Congratulations

Welcome & Happy Sunday to Ya!!
I didn't get a good start to my day today. I didn't get to sleep until 3 a.m. and then I awoke at 9:20 a.m. So I'm moving in slo-mo today. Bare with me.
This card was created for a 2-fer: Card Positioning System's Sketch #112 & Cute Card Thursday's Challenge #56 - Floral Fantasy

Front of my card:
Inside my card:
My thought was this could be a nice graduation card. I may go back and add a pocket to the inside for a check or some $ bills. And maybe stamp some little inspirational/motivational msg. for the graduate. I have a nephew graduating from high school in May. Might be a nice masculine-ish card for him. If I alter this card I'll repost with changes.

Hello!

Another road trip and then home to play at 9:30 p.m. I saw a sketch challenge and I wanted to do something else... besides a card. So I found this little sei scrapbook in a bag kit and decided that's the route I was going. I used this sketch from Unscripted Sketches. Here is my album front before...
* The color is not exact in the picture, it's more the orange in the next photo.

Here is my album cover in progress.
I added a pocket.

Here is my finished album cover. I added an insert with a stamped tree and butterfly and dragonfly bradletz inside the pocket.

Ingredients: sei scrapbook in a bag - pp, sticker, cs & album, flair designs - Ribbon Style Paper Trim "Citrus Tree", Snag Em stamps - Fairest of them All (Tree), Color Blast ink - Country Green, PC - Bradletz Dragon/Butterfly, jewelry piece, Keep In Touch Kit - ribbon

Below are the two cards I created. The first one I created strictly from the inspiration piece. However, a couple hours later I read all the way to the bottom of Tenia's e-mail (the fine print) and realized this was a 'color challenge'. OOOPS! My bad. LOL
Anywhoo, here ya go!

The colors are as follows: Basic Black, Whisper White, Real Red, Close to Cocoa/Creamy Caramel and Old Olive.

From Courtney's Closet #39 - Barking Up the Wrong Tree

I'm Baaaack!
This is a card I made for my first time trying Libby's From Courtney's Closet Inspiration Challenge. I don't know why I've never played along with Libby's color challenges before. But I sure enjoyed this one. Hubs bought me these Inkadinkadoo - Dog stamps and I am really enjoying playing with them. I stamped everything in Stampabilities - Black and used Black Sparkle embossing powder from Personal Stamp Exchange to emboss. You really can't see it in the photo but the tree and the little Scottie have some sparkle.
I had to re-create the sentiment. I had the "Bark!" stamp but I had to add NG and then I hand wrote "up the wrong tree".

Thanks for Looking.

TECC64-pcpcuttlebug21 - Having a RRRUFF day?

Hello Again & Welcome!
For the Taylored Expressions & Cuttlebug-ers challenges I created this sweet card. It has a masculine theme purposefully. I hardly if ever make cards for the men in my family, except birthdays and then, they aren't particularly masculine. Anywho, I based my card on a shimmering gunbarrel grey cs. Then I added a navy blue embossed piece I sent through my Cuttlebug with the forest branches folder. Then I took a piece of Tim Holtz Harlequin grungeboard and distressed it by smudging with; Fresco -Vesuvian Ash & Medici Marble, ColorBox - Charcoal & Prussian Blue. I stamped 'Ruff" twice and cut his body and head out and popped them up on dots.

Ingredients: Tim Holtz - Grungeboard, Cuttlebug - forest branches embossing folder, ColorBox Ink - Charcoal & Prussian Blue, Fresco Ink - Vesuvian Ash & Medici Marble, Dallas Garment District - button, Inkadinkadoo Stamps - Dog & Sentiment

2S4YS24- Friends Always

Hello Again!
I'm back with a sketch from 2 Sketches 4 You #24. Ok, to say I had trouble with this one is an understatement. I don't know why. It looked pretty easy. But it really messed with my head. Finally, I came up with this. The rose is a stamped image I received in a swap. The sentiment is a sticker and the pp is all from a kit. I used two sizes of Nesties to cut my zig zag circles. I colored with both Stampin' Up! markers and Spicas. I used a Martha Stewart border punch on three sides. TFL!

Easter Sunday and the Flora

Howdy!
I wish I could tell you I knew the names of all these flowers but I don't. I think these might be 'Baby Blues Eyes'. These are for sure 'Indian Paintbrushes' and 'Bluebonnets'.

These are the ones that really baffled me and I still don't know what they are. I can tell you, their colors ranged from pale pink to a deep fuschia.
I don't know these either.
I think these are yellow daisies.
This is my GrandBoy Zackary and his mom, Holli. She's trying to tell him how to climb the rock wall. And he let go with his right hand to look at the camera. She grabbed his hand.Zackary made it to the top!!!! Super Boy!

Thanks for looking. We had a wonderful Easter. It was truly blessed that we could all be together; Mike (hubs), Zack (grandboy), Holli (our oldest daughter), Jessi ( our youngest daughter), Devin (Holli's boyfriend) & me. I wanted to try to take a family picture but everyone dispersed as the afternoon was turning into evening and we all had long drives home ahead of us.

Monday MoJo82 - A little note...

Helloooooooo!
Good Monday to you!
Aha! Maybe you noticed, this is NOT a card!!! Nope! Last week I found Makeesha Byl tutorial in the SplitCoastStampers Weekly Inkling. Well, it just kept haunting me until I had to give it a try. I was a little apprehensive at first but once I got all the cs cut out it came together fairly quickly. So much so that I altered it slightly to fit Julee's MoJo Monday sketch challenge. Listen, if you haven't subscribed to the INKLING yet, do so! If you haven't made one of these little cuties yet, please give it a try. They'd be pretty quick to put together as a Mother's Day gift. Or maybe your child DEARLY loved their teacher this term, this would be a terrific gift for her/him.

Weekly Inkling is published each Wednesday by Splitcoaststampers as a free service to our members.

ICS11 - Happy Easter

Hello Again!

This is the card I made for my hubs for Easter. It's also created using the Inspirational Card Sketches sketch #11.
This is a quick post. You may recognize the Tiger Lily as one of the swap images I received & colored from Trish Davey. Well I cut it out and used it for my focal point in this one. The pink and gold egg is a button. Thanks for looking. I am off to wait for my youngest to arrive. She'll be going with hubs and myself on Easter Sunday to see the grandboy, Zackary and his mommy. We're meeting them in Waco for lunch. Zack chose Johnny Carino's as to where to have lunch. Yumm-O! :-p

USS01 - Unscripted Sketches #01 - only the Best

Hello There!
So glad you dropped in. It's Easter weekend and I am home alone. So, I decided to play with the sketch at this "NEW" sketch challenge spot Unscripted Sketches. This one looked like fun. But I have to confess, it was truly a challenge for me. I knew I wanted to try using my Nesties in a different way. I've been seeing ladies use them as the basic backdrop for their cards, with hinged edges and all. So I gave it a try. However, my Nestie was on the smaller side so I couldn't use it for the entire card. I placed mine as an accent. If you look closely the blue cs is mounted on a piece of Crate Paper patterned cs. The Nestie was used to both cut and emboss this element. This is a shot of my finished card.

Below is a shot of the inside of the hinged piece of cs I used the Nesti on. The little birdie image was a stamped image I received in a swap. I used markers to color in the image and I used a rub - on for the sentiment.
Ingredients: Crate Paper - pps and rub-ons, Martha Stewart border punch, Stampin' Up! - markers, Keep In Touch Kits - ribbon & flowers

Hi :

I've been out all day. We drove to Muenster, TX and bought some official German Chockies and some sausages and cheeses. Yum, yum, YUM! We got home about 9 P.M. and I just had to play with my new Inkadinkadoo stamp (Quartet). I just loved this stamp when I saw it on the website. I used Crayola Color Pencils on these. I'm so pleased with the way it turned out. Can't you tell I LOVE these pp from Crate Paper? Well, I do!

Ingredients: Martha Stewart picket fence border punch, Martha Stewart scallop n daisy border punch, Kaiser - pink crystals

BVC09 - Matthew 17:20

Hi There! I'm so happy you dropped in. Today's card is for the Devine Design Bible Verse Challenge over at SplitCoast. I've never participated in this challenge before. But once I found it, I felt compelled to play along. The challenge is simple; use scripture and create something, anything using a scripture verse as your focal point. For my card I went with Matthew 17:20 NIV
"I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you." I fervently believe that between you and God, nothing is impossible! My card started with the verse and then I built around it. I'm quite pleased with the way it turned out. Of course in the coming Bible Verse challenges I will try to be a little more creative in the design area. Maybe an altered item or even a book mark. Just something other than a card as I make those all the time.

Ingredients: Create Papers - pp, Stampin' Up! - cs, Martha Stewart - border punches, Keep In Touch Kits - ribbons, Verse is computer generated.

Card_Crafts Stamped Images Swap from Trish Davey

Hi There! Thanks for dropping in. I just wanted to share these images I received in a swap today. No they were NOT colored when I received them. I just received my Stampin' Up! markers and the images ont he same day. So I decided to play with them. I hope you enjoy the eye candy. Some of the cardstock has a very shiney finish so the photos don't do them justice. But you can get the jist of it.
This is the last image I colored and I love, love, love it! This one, once again is on that shiney cs. It looks so much better in person, I have to admit. But all I can do is show you this photo.
I named this little fellow Howie. Don't ask me why. I just thought it fit him. LOL

This is one of the shiney cs. This is a mushroom house with little fairies flying over. It's a lot prettier in person.

This is a branch of hibiscus flowers. This happens to be my favorite colored hibiscus. I used to own three of them. But the winters in North Texas did them in. It's also on the shiney cs.This image caught my eye straight away. And I may ask Trish to send me a few more or at least tell me where she got the stamp. I just love it!

Thanks Trish these are fab!!!

20090331ptw - Best Wishes

Hello Again:
This card was created for the Paper Take Weekly Sketch by Dawny. I really like all the added details on this sketch, the three embellies on the top left hand corner and the three embellies in the bottom right hand corner. And of course I had to add a flower and some extra ribbon. I wish I'd have had some raindrops. I think then my card would have made more sense. It's supposed to be a shower card; could be bay or wedding. But without the rain it just lacks something. But I think it's cute anyway.
Ingredients: There She Goes - Twitterpated stamps, JustRite Stampers - Best Wishes sentiment, Doodlebug & The Paper Studio - pp, Petaloos - flowers, Creative Imaginations - felt ribbon, Keep In Touch Kits - yellow ribbon, Stampin' Up! - cs, Imaginisce - brads

MOJO81 - Using up scraps! - Wish You Were Here

Howdy! Can you believe Easter is less than a week away???!!! I have to say; it caught me off guard. I did get my grandson's basket and I bought him some clothes. But the rest of the preparations just escaped me. So now we are resorting to meeting my daughter and grandson somewhere half way between Dallas & College Station on Easter Sunday. I think we'll have lunch somewhere and give Zackary his gifties. But this is not the norm for us for any holiday!

Ok now to my card...
This one is created for Julee's MoJo Monday challenge. I used up a lot of scrap stuff I have lying around my work table top. The butterfly! The butterfly was from a swap from Card_Crafts Group on Yahoo. My partner Christina Davey sent me this beautiful stamped image. It's stamped in a dark pink onto a light pink cs and then stamped again on clear vellum with white ink. I just layered them (which is how I believe Christina intended them to be used). Then I took a dard pink ink pad and rubbed it around the edges. I also used the same ink pad to rub the petals of this blue paper flower. I added a crystal to the top of the oversized brad. Ingredients: Keep In Touch Kits - pp, ribbons; Stampin' Up! - cs, K7 Co - Words to Go, ColorBox Ink - Chalk Rouge, Kaiser - Crystal

To die - cut or Not to die - cut

Hi:
Well I stumbled across this tutorial on the Cuttlebug Challenge Blog that Spike posted. When I finished reading I was stumped! But then the wheels started turning. You know the ones, they sit dormant until "Bada Bing" the light bulb glows! LOL Well, it sounded a lot more difficult than it actually was. YES! You can do it too! I'm not going into detail here, go on over to the Cuttlebug Challenge Blog and read all about it! Then try it! You'll love the way it turns out! I do.
Now this is my before, this is my finished, err, almost finished project. I plan to embellish it a little before it get sent out in the mail.

The cardstock it all Stampin' Up! Alas, I'm not good with color names. Although below you will see this HOT fuschia inside, that's a piece of Bazzill. The stamps are from Sweet N' Sassy Stamps, A True Friend collection.

ALL DONE!!!!
Don't look too closely, I kind of went haywire with my dots. LOL

Now get buggin'!!!

Sympathy

Hi:
Some of you may remember my friend in Louisiana (Lennie) who was diagnosed last year with breast cancer. I'm happy to say, Lennie is doing well with her treatments and her hair is even growing back! But this week Lennie and her family suffered the loss of Lennie's mom (Mrs. Simon). My heart goes out to the family. Below is the sympathy card I created and am sending to Lennie and her family. If you have a moment please stop and offer up a prayer for Lennie and her loving family in their time of sorrow. Thanks.

Thanks for stopping by:

MFTSC75 - Mother

Another My Favorite Things sketch challenge posted by Cindy Haffner.
Once again I used products from on of Kelly's kits. I really love everything I found in the last 3 kits I ordered from her. These pps and embellies are perfect for my Mother's Day themed card. I started with a preformed yellow cs 5x5 card. Then I chose one of the pps and punch a 3" circle from the bottom right hand corner. Then using my 3 1/8" scalloped circle punch I punched another circle and scalloped circle from another pp. The flower with the string is from the lit but the snowflake bg chicpboard is from My Little Yellow Bicycle. I just layered the pieces to fill the punched out circle area. The outside sentiment is also from the kit. I hand stamped the Happy Mother's Day on the inside.

My ribbon is red velvet. And although the picture doesn't showit, the little heart flower in the corner is a red heart with green leaves.

ART SHARE / BLOG CANDY

ART SHARE BLOG CANDY
(This will remain at the top of my blog until I get 5 winners)
ART SHARE / BLOG CANDY
I found this idea on CHRISSY'S BLOG while blog hopping. I think it is a fantastic way to share our art!
The first 5 people to respond to this post will get something made by me! My choice! For you. Could be a card I really am pleased with, an altered object or something else all together!
My choice! This offer does have some restrictions and limitations:
1. I make no guarantees that you will like what I make!
2. What I create will be made with you in mind so you won't get something I already made unless I think it suits you to a T.
3. It'll be done sometime this year (I will want to get it done in the next month or so).
4. You have no clue what it's going to be.
5. The catch? Oh, the catch is you must offer this blog candy on your blog! Re-post this on your blog, offer something you make - your choice - to the first 5 people who do the same on your blog (then come here and post).
Add my name to the #1 slot on your card- I am your first participant. When you create your give away, you will become the first participant on the new list for the people who participate with you. The first 5 people to do so and leave a comment here telling me they did (I will go to your blog to check that you have this posted) win a handmade gift by me. Oh, and be sure to post a picture of what you win when you get it! SO ...................who will be the first 5 people????
1. Creating with Chrissy
2. Cody's Nan's Blog
3. Snoopy's Homemade Fun
4. Libby's Little Addiction
5. Ananya Gupta
Get going!!!

JCI30 - Blessings!

Blame Stacey!

I am NOT sorry to admit this color combo freaked me the heck out!!! But Stacey challenged me!

So Stacey I hope I did well enough to be entered in the running for your blog candy! LOL
This card is about 70% cardstock and 10% Petaloos and 10% brads and another 10% vellum. I know it's very simple and pretty basic but I thought those colors spoke loud enough for the design! ;-) Thanks for looking.

CBI25- Greetings

Hi! I'm been pretty busy creating this afternoon. Monday I received 2 kits from Keep In Touch and today I received a 3rd! Kelly always puts the neatest kits together. I can't wait to rip those boxes open and start playing. Today was no exception. So for today's Cuttlebug Challenge I stamped an old strawberry stamp three times and heat embossed with clear powder. I then backed it with pp and stickers from Kelly's kits. Ribbons, embellies and sentiment all came from her kits. The cardstock is Bazzill and the border punch is Martha Stewart.
Oh! Before I forget in today's kit Kelly included some cellophane bags with berries on them. I cut a piece of the baggie off and embossed it in my Cuttlebug using the swirlies folder then I rubbed the back with some Fresco Chalk Finish Ink in Medici Marble. This is the background behind the stamped strawberry tag.
Thanks for looking...
This a joint challenge between Cuttlebug Challenges, Shortcuts and Sheetload!
