Masculine Birthday Card #2 Happy Birthday Dad

Hello Again:
Another masculine card for you to see. This one is for my dad on his 81st birthday. This birthday is a special milestone for Dad. Last year on his 80th birthday, my sister and I planned a huge SURPRISE birthday bash for Dad. We had rented a place and hired a dj and sent out invites and had the food all in place. Then on July 15, 2008 Dad landed himself in the hospital for 5 bypasses! So this card was fun and special! It's very non-assuming and quite straight forward on the front. But when you get to the INSIDE:

You can't really see it but in that little plastic bag there is a wooden 'round' coin that reads TUIT!

Dad's gonna love it!!! TFL

This is my card for the Unscripted Sketches challenge #16. I used my D'Vine Swirls embossinbg folder in my Cuttlebug to create the background in purple. Everything I used on this card came from one or more of Kelly's kits from Keep In Touch Card Kits. I'm lovin this beautiful purple plaid ribbon with the dotted swiss. TFL

Followers! Can anyone help?

Sometime on Tuesday I lost my Followers. The thingy doesn't show up with all my followers pictures in it. The space for them is still there but I can't see any of them. I don't know how to get them back. Anyone with any suggestions? I'd appreciate a note to help. Thanks,

Hello Again:
Can you tell I am 'in-love' with these Basic Grey pattern papers? This is another stamped image from a swap and I just adore this beautiful baby. She's colored with my Copics and raised up with dimensional foam dots. These are all elements from a purple kit I special ordered from Kelly at Keep In Touch Card Kits. I used the sketch at Jacksonbelle Embellishments to create this card. TFL

This is my example for this week's Cuttlebug-ers Challenge. Stamp, draw, rub-on and color your image. Then run it through the CB using your favorite embossing folder. I used the Swiss Dots folder on my little monkeys.

MOJO MONDAY 96 - Happy Birthday!

I'm BAAAAACK! Family has all retreated to their own homes and all is quiet on the western front! It was a long, fun, tiring busy 2 weeks. Sis in law (Carol) and good friend (Sue) painted the living room and dining room for us. Carol also painted the hallway. Thanks ladies, your generosity is much appreciated and the rooms look terrific after having waited 5 years to be completed. Long story...

Anyhoo, back to my card. This was created using the Mojo Monday week 96 sketch at the MOJO MONDAY blogspot. The House Mouse image was in a card swap I recieved. I used my Spicas to color.

Happy Birthday to me from Laurel Kingston - Kerr!!!! Thanks Laurel. The card is really pretty and I love the little caption stamped on the back (If you're looking for a price on the back of this card, you won't find it here. But, you will find the blood, sweat and tears that was put into the making of this card. Then there's a bar code and in the bar code where the numbers go it says "PRICELESS".)
Here's my music card from Kayleen Clements of Card Crafts Group. I really like the rich red and the stubtle stamping. Makes the card look like an anitque. The embellishments are great too.

Holli and Zack made it back from AZ on the 4th. On the 5th Holli & Devin took Zack to see the Radio Disney Crew at our local Market Street Grocery. Zack won a prize for being the only kiddoe in the group who could sing "We Are The Champions". He won a "The Tale of Despereaux" lunch box and a Jonas Brothers t-shirt. He was so proud he had to call his Nana from the venue and tell me all about it!

Zack also met Elsie the Borden's Cow. He says she was really soft.
