hi --- TSTC69

This week @ Twisted Sketches Twisted Cards the challenge is to work with this sketch and the "TWIST" is to use SQUARES. It's a nice sketch and quite interesting to work with.

I took the challenge one step further and made my card a 4.5" x 4.5" square as well. To begin, I stamped the blades of grass from SU Inspired by Nature in Versa Mark and heat embossed with White ep on Melon Mambo textured cs. I love the way this turned out! Then I stamped my sentiment in Versa Mark on some yellow parchment cs and heat embossed with Melon Mambo, Tangerine Tango and Wild Wasabi ep. Then I stamped it again in Lovely Lilac and Wisteria Wonder and heat embossed with clear ep. I took my 3/4" square punch and punched a square from the Melon Mambo, Tangerine Tango, Wild Wasabi and the Lovely Lilac sentiments. I attached them in various locations with dimensional adhesives. I matted using coordinating colored cs and added a flower paperclip. Then it was done.

I hope you will join us this week at Twisted Sketches! The links to my fellow dt members is to the right on my side bar.

Lili of the Valley 102

Lili of the Valley Challenge #102 - sketch. My card utilizes the In Colors dsp from Stampin' Up! I added some ribbon and a few brads as well as a flower I punched using the Five Petal Flower Punch. The sentiment was stamped in Always Artichoke on to a striped piece of the dsp.

hi - CTD114

hi - Color Throw Down#114 - poppy parade, chocolate chip, pear pizzaz, so saffron. This is a really AWESOME color combo. I had to add the marina mist because the dp I played with had it in it. But this combo is really a fun one to work with. It works for summer, spring or fall. And I bet if you really try you could work it to Christmas as well.
The sketch is by Trish Davey from CardSketchesByZacksNana. Trish does a weekly Sunday sketch for my group on Yahoo.

Stamps: Stampin' Up! Say it with Scallops
Ink: Stampin' Up! Pear Pizzaz
Cardstock: Stampin' Up! so saffron, pear pizzaz, chocolate chip, poppy parade

Thanks for looking,

Hi! - CandCC01 & WSC06232010

Hi! I love you for who you are. This card was created for 2 challenges - Claudia & Company's 1st challenge using their sketch and My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club's challenge to use cork or felt on your project (I matted my image on deep red felt). I stsmped Ella twice; once on dp and once on white cardstock. Then I paper pieced her dress and her hair bow. I used the same paper to make a tropical looking flower (dp is a RAK). Ella is colored with American Crafts Stamp markers and Close To My Heart markers ( can you see I painted her toe nails a deep red?!). The dp is from Basic Grey. Ribbon is from May Arts and the brad is from Kaiser.
Hope you enjoyed peeping at this one! It was a joy to create!!!

hi - CLP24

hi - Chelsea's Crafting Life's Pieces Challenge #24. Use her sketch. Well, I have tons of very feminine cards and her sketch is very feminine looking. So I took it in the opposite direction. I am pleased with my card. The stamping sets used for the sand dollar and the hi sentiment are from Stampin' Up! sets; Nature's Wonders and Say it with Scallops. They were stamped in Close to my Heart's barn red and clear heat embossed. Papers are from Basic Grey's Offbeat paper pad. Ribbons are May Arts.

hi! - Friday Sketchers #89

Dressy Ebony from The Greeting Farm... She's just perfect using the sketch from Friday Sketchers #89. Bazzill cardstock and pattern papers from DCWV Nana's Kids Stack. Image colored with Copics. The butterfly stamp is from Basic Grey. It was stamped in purple then heat embossed and stamped again in a darker shade just off center to create a shadow and then heat embossed again. Hi! is a sticker from Deja Views.
