Zack's Happy Feet Igloo

Hello!
I just wanted to share the cake I finished today. This is Zack's cake for his 6th birthday. Weds. was his actual birthday, but the party isn't until Sunday and I am bringing the cake! So what you see here is one layer of chocolate/vanilla marble cake. Then the igloo is made of vanilla cake. I used a 14 inch round for the base of the cake. Then I filled a 4" spring form pan 3/4 of the way up. When this little cake baked it rose above the rim into the perfect dome for my igloo. Below is the cake crumb coated.

Below I frosted and placed my fondant sculpted penguines.

Below are the penguines with the candles.

Nothing is to scale of course but I am happy with the cake. I believe Zack will be too.

More Happy Feet - SC254 - Zack's B-day

Hello:
Happy 6th Birthday, Zackary!!! Love You, Nana

It's been a few days since I posted. Been rather busy round here...
Since Zack, decided he wants a Happy Feet/penguin theme for his birthday party my mom asked me to make a birthday card for her and dad to give Zack. This is what I came up with using SplitCoast Sketch Challenge #254. I love these stamps from My Favorite Things. It's the same set I used in my previous post. The pp is from DCWV The Glitter Stacks. I used my Martha Stewart star border punch and my NEW EK Success snowflake border punch on the inside. The sentiment reads: Hey, Zackary! Twinkle, Twinkle. You're the star...
Inside reads: And wonderful is what you are!
So here's a wish that's just for you -
May all your birthday dreams come true! TFL!

HAPPY FEET ZACK

Hello Friendz!
This card was created for my grandson, Zackary's 6th birthday. He chose Happy Feet invitations so I kept with the theme and used MFT penguines WINTER BLAST SET to make my birthday card for him. I stamped the images twice and colored them with my Spicas. Then I just popped some up on dimensionals. The igloo is computer generated, as is the sentiment. I gave things a shimmery look with my silver glitter gel pen. I added a couple of happy feet to the inside of my card along with my computer generated sentiment which reads: Happy Birthday! Hope it's a toe-tapping good time!!!

Thanks for looking.
