Have a Bluebonnet Kind of Day! - Texas Tuesdays
Have a Bluebonnet Kind of Day! - Texas Tuesdays.
Howdy y'all! My firend Libby Hickson said, " I am fixin' to turn Tuesday into Texas Tuesday here on my little ol' blog, and by golly if I'm not back for another Texas-y post! But here's a bit of exciting news - a few of my fellow Texas stampers loved the idea too, so they are going to be joining me!!"
This week I am playing along, so be sure to check out Libby's Texas-inspired creation (I think it's GAW JUS!)! Going forward, we are going to be having Texas Tuesday posts on the first and third Tuesday each month, and TWO MORE of our favorite Texas gals will be playing too! Can I just say - Gawl lee!! And just for fun - if you feel at all inspired to play along with us, please do! Send Libby a link via comment on HER Texas Tuesday post, and on the fourth Tuesday each month SHE'LL share a little Cowgirl Roundup! Well, I say "cowgirl" - but please note that cowboys are more than welcome to play too! :-)
This week Libby was inspired by bluebonnets. So I played with that theme. I used my favorite Bluebonnet stamp from Texana Designs etsy shop (A Texas Company). They do good Texana Rubber! I stamped my image on whisper white with Imprintz white ink and heat embossed. I colored with Copics - yg23 New Leaf, yg00 Mimosa Yellow, BG01 Aqua Blue, B24 Sky, B60 Pale Blue Gray. I ran a piece of dark forest green cardstock through the Cuttlebug with the branches embossing folder. Corner punched with my EK Success corner punch. Added beads, brads and my computer generated (made up by me) sentiment and Voila! A Texas Tuesday creation!!!
Thanks to my sweet friend Libby for including me in her ELITE little group!
Libby asked me to post a photo of Seamus (our rescued pup) in the bluebonnets. So here ya go!
