SoftPencil Designs Sentiments - Happy Birthday

Today is again wonderful Softpencil Thursday. This week we are creating with Elizabeth's new digi-sentiments collection for brithdays! For my welcome baby card I used Feliz Cumpleanos (Happy Birthday in Spanish). These sentiments work so well with any images. I recycled a simple, one dimensional shower invite into a full on greeting card with a front, inside and back. I used the polka dotted border from the original and cut it down to fit a 4.25 x 5.5 inch piece of kraft cardstock. Then I stamped my image and colored it with ink and my aqua painter. I added the little buttons with the silver fiber for accent and for the wheels on the carriage. I used the word Baby cut from the original and added the SoftPencil sentiment and called it done!
For my cupcake card I used Fijne Verjaardag ( Happy Birthday in Dutch). I colored the image with American Crafts stamp markers and the sentiment with Spicas. I doodled on the flower shaped card base with my Spicas. Added the sentiment, a ribbon and a heart brad. Then it was complete. This card is entered in the challenge at Fab 'n' Funky Challenges #30 get in shape, which SoftPencil is sponsoring.
