Very productive day! My gal pal Deb came over today!! Since Deb's mom passed on the 2nd of April we have not had any opportunities to get together for our "therapy". Finally, today we made the "therapy" time count!
My first card to show you is digital image that Deb printed out for me to share with her.Believe it or not, I had fits over the leaves. I was about 95% done with the coloring of my scene. The leaves were not colored. I was tempted to leave them white. But Deb said, "Why don't you use this marker and just dab at the leaves." Well I took her advice of the coloring with the marker (the rest of the scene was colored using watercolor pencils) and managed to make the marker work!
For my next 2 cards I went by photos of cards Deb has seen on someone's blogs. Sorry but when she printed out the picture we did not get web addresses.
I really enjoyed making those 2 cards! Right up my alley; bright, colorful and very cheery!
The card below was inspired by another blog. Still not sure whose. Sorry. I just really liked my choise of color combo.
For the next card I CASED Tara Bourgoin.
The next 2 cards were created for my ZacksNana's Sketch Group at Yahoo. The one with the teal ribbon is my card for the swap.
The card with the pink ribbon and button is Deb's card for the swap.
If you find any personal inspiration here please leave me a comment with a link so I can check out your creations.
