Welcome to the DOG days of Summer

Cupcake Craft Challenge145 - which is "Things With Tails" . Everyone knows dogs have tails - long short, stub, fluffy, wirey, short hair, straight or curly. Any way you look at it, every dog has a tail. I have owned this stamp set for years and every now and then, I like to take it out and play with it. All my doggies were stamped with Versa Mark and then heat embossed with black embossing powder. Hope you like my, "Things With Tails" creation. It was truly fun to create!
I called it "Welcome to the dog says of summer" because I felt the red checked dsp looked like a picnic blanket. I added the green matte to simulate grass.

Inspirational Card Sketches #54 - Good Dog. I just love these pattern papers from the DCWV The Pets Stack. So many patterns and textures to choose from. I have a friend who is making outfits for dogs to sell in a boutique here in town and she asked me to make some cards to put in with her creations. So I've been slowly trying to put some cards together to celebrate pups! This is one for a 'GOOD DOG'! :O)

The embroidered pup is from Do -Jiggies.
