New Baby

This is a card I made for my niece and nephew on the birth of my new great niece, Aubree Angelina Rivera. The face of the card is my own design. If I can ever figure out how I did it, I will try my hand at a tutorial. All I can tell you right now is I started with a Daffodil Delight 12 x 12 sheet of cs. I cut it down to 5 1/2" x 12". Then from the short end (5 1/2") I measured 2 1/2" from the edges and cut at a diagonal towards the other end of the 12" side. Then I accordian folded the yellow piece and adhered it to a 4.125" x 5.5" card blank of Pumpkin Pie. All the dsp is Stampin' Up! Twitterpated and the images are from MO's Digital Pencil. I colored with Copics. I know Aubree is a sweet little girl baby but sometimes PINK just doesn't work for me. I love green so I decided to stick to the color I know. Hope you enjoyed looking.
