Top Tip Tuesday #54 - Use the sketch.
My "TIP" --- When using a die and wanting a layered effect on the piece you are cutting, it is smarter to layer first adhering the layers before you try to cut. As you can see with my card, I did not cut my layers first. So there was some shifting of the dsp and cs. TFL

TTT51 - For the Kids

My creation today is for the Top Tip Tuesday Challenge #51 which is make a card for the kiddoe. Well, it could be for a small child up to a teenager. So I made mine fit the teen category. At least that's my story and I'm sticking to it! :O)
The "windmill" as I call it, was created using scraps of discontinued Stampin" Up! dsp.  The sentiment is a stamp from the Stampin' Up! set - Up, Up and Away which also has some hot air balloons in it. I used a torquoise cs cause I wanted to add another color to the scheme of things. The rhinestones and the brad are also Stampin' Up! products.

Top Tip Tuesday Challenge #47

Stampin' Up! all the way on this one. Well except for that little piece of decorative ribbon. I found that in my stash. The cardstock is real red. The dsp is Pocketful of Posies. The stamps are Ornate Blossom and Fabulous Florets. The punches are Boho Blossoms and Triple Layer Blossom Bouquet. The Ornate Blossom was stamped in Real Red onto a piece of cardstock then heat embossed with clear embossing powder. Then I craft cut it and laid it out with dimensional adhesives. I added some bling with the Basic Rhinestones. This card was created for the Top Tip Tuesday Challenge Blog. Alas I was too late to enter it. But it was truly fun to make and I love the way it turned out.
