Late Night CardMaking

I don''t know about you but my creative juices always kick in long about 11:30 p.m. 😲😲 So I am usually up late nights creating. Last night was no exception. Here are the two cards I made before I turned in.

PLEASE LEAVE COMMENTS!

The card below was created using DSP from SU! Warmth & Cheer. The die cut is from my friend Debbie Segler. The little bells charm is from SU!

The card below is mad from Stampin' Up! DSP Candy Cane Lane, the Cable Knit EF some old buttons and twine and Silver Bells Ring Flair Pin.

Below is a photo of my 4 month old puppy Suki' enjoying her backyard. She only weighs 9 lbs. She is a mixed breed puppy - Cairn Terrier and Dachshund. Isn't she just the cutest? One day last week she chased a squirrel from the right side to the left side of this backyard. She came very close to catching it! She's F-A-S-T!!!!

Play Date with Debbie Segler

The first card was created with SU! products from the embossing folder to the stamps to the dangling charm.
This card is very CAS. So if you are in a hurry and need a dozen or more cards, this one can be thrown together in a jiffy! You could even change the colors of inks you use to stamp the trees.

Deb came over on Sunday. We played a while. I didn't get very many cards made, however...
Deb brought some beautful dies she had gotten for her birthday. OMW! I wanted to KEEP them!

There were words like Peace, Jingle, HOHOHO, Merry, Merry Christmas, etc. You can see the Merry on the following card. The DSP and Merry Mice are from Stampin' Up!

This week at Sparkle Creations Christmas Card Challenges is to use GLITTER! SO if you look at the frame and scroll work surrounding my stamped sentiment you will notice my glitter. I am so enjoying adding glitter to my cards without having to sprinkle. A lot of the manufacturers are making glitter or sparkle cardstock these days. Isn't that simply fabby!!!😍

For my card I used some dsp from Echo Park Hello Winter scrapbooking kit. The sentiment is from Stampin' Up! Dies are from SU!Framelits Labels Collection (125598) and Spellbinders Botanical Bliss.

Ombre Christmas Card

I love this stamp from Hero Arts. I just have had a lot of trouble trying to figure out how to use it. Then I stumbled upon a video on YouTube of someone using a different stamp but using the ombre effect. It worked out better than I expected. So I sandwiched the stamped image between two pieces of acetate. I'm pleased. May try this one again with different colors.

Ribbon is from Stampin' Up!

Another Christmas Card

All because of this die cut! I love this die cut and had to use it on a card. The sentiment is from Stampin' Up! set - Wonderland. The die is from Memory Box - Frostyville Border. Isn't it just fabby!!!

The sentiment on the inside is also from Stampin' Up! The set is called Versatile Christmas. It's one of my favs because it has so many sentiments in it.

More Christmas

This card just came together in my mind. Then I quickly got it together in real life. It actually worked better than planned. The dsp is from The Paper Studio - There's No Place Like Home for the Holidays paper pack. I cut it 4 1/8" x 5 3/8". Then I used distress ink and inked it up. Set that aside. Then I stamped my bird  and pine images from Craftwork Cards Clear Stamps - Christmas Cheer. The sentiment is from Flourishes - Country Time Christmas. The bird was colored with color pencils and I layered over it some Wink of Stella clear.

I'm not positive but I believe this sentiment is from Unity Stamp Co.

I am working hard to get all my Christmas cards made before December 1, 2016!
I hope I get them all done.

Please COMMENT on my creations. I work hard. Lots of people visit but only a select 2 or 3 ever comment. I appreciate those folks so much. But it would be nice to hear from others as well. If you like what you see, please let me know. Even if you don't like what you see, comment. I can take the criticism.

Krazy Kreations Glitter Card Kits

My local scrapbooking store had a 10% off sale this weekend (Nov. 3-5). So I took advantage of the sale and bought 4 Krazy Kreations Studios Glitter Card Kits. Below are the cards I made along with their coordinating item numbers.

 Poinsettia Item # KK3060CK

Gingerbread Item # KK3009CK

Cardinal Item #KK3058CK

These are very simple to make. I think children from age 7 - up could make these with a little cutting assistance from an adult. It's simply peel the stickers off and stick them onto the glitter paper. Then color with Copics or any markers really (on mine I used Copics and Stampin' Up! markers). Cut them out along the outside of the black lines. Use glue or dimensional adhesives to adhere the stickers to your card. Great thing is, there are enough supplies in each kit to make 3 cards and they even include the envelopes for mailing!
I bought one more but I haven't created a card with it yet so I will save it for another post.
Hope you like these fun Sunday Christmas cards I've made today.
