The first card was created with SU! products from the embossing folder to the stamps to the dangling charm.

This card is very CAS. So if you are in a hurry and need a dozen or more cards, this one can be thrown together in a jiffy! You could even change the colors of inks you use to stamp the trees.

Deb came over on Sunday. We played a while. I didn't get very many cards made, however... 

Deb brought some beautful dies she had gotten for her birthday. OMW! I wanted to KEEP them! 

There were words like Peace, Jingle, HOHOHO, Merry, Merry Christmas, etc. You can see the Merry on the following card. The DSP and Merry Mice are from Stampin' Up!

Curtain Call May 1

Firstly, let me wish all the moms out there a very Happy Mother's Day!

Below is my card for the Curtain Call May 1 challenge.

My card was created using the Sweet Floral stamp from Stampin' Up! I stamped the image with Versa Mark and used Pan Pastels to smudge the colors. On top I place a die cut in shiny gold. I stamped the butterfly and colored it with my ColourArts Silks acrylic paints. Then went over it with my Wink of Stella. I love this clean and simple card! 

If I'd have left the sentiment off, this would have been a perfect Mother's Day card!

Curtain Call Simplicity

Here's my entry for the Curtain Call Challenge which is Simplicity. Stamps are from Penny Black's Butterfly Party and Stampin' Up! Trust God.
I love the Penny Black set because there are 3 tag stamps in the package. Each is a little different butterfly on a different background.
The sentiments from this Stampin' Up! set just really fit when it's time for a little spiritual inspiration. To me butterflies are calming and the sentiments in the Trust God set, go so well with them.

My tag was stamped with Versa Mark onto a scrap of Brusho I made several months ago. Heated some white embossing powder. So a "found object" makes this one pds (pretty darn simple)!

So here is my entry in Color Throw Down #388 - blue, yellow and green. My color combo is Daffodil Delight, Gumball Green and Tempting Torquoise. The stamps are from Stampin' Up! as well, Over the Rainbow set. I tried to keep it as CAS as possible. The punches are from Fiskars.

Playing around with my Brushos last night and I came up with this. I got really lucky when the ink dripped down the right hand side of the card. It formed a perfect shadow of a tree. I then used my white gel pen to high light the trunk and branches. I love the sentiment. It is stamped in Versa Mark and heat embossed in White embossing powder.

The Paper Players Challenge #129 - Clean & Simple. Got it!
01/24/2013 @ 9:45 p.m. My sweet friend Mary Beth went to join her husband, Dave with our Heavenly Father. R. I. P.
I have a sweet friend, Mary Beth, who fell and broke her wrist. I wanted to make her a get well card and this challenge made that pretty easy for me to do. So using Stampin' Up! On the Grow (123077) which is retired to make my card. I inked up my stamp with Versa Mark then inked it again in Soft Suede and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. Now you may ask me why? Well, the Versa Mark helps hold the embossing powder on and the colored ink outlines the stamped image so that when I use my markers or crayons or color pencils to color, the color stays where I put it. A little Stampin' Up! Summer Starfruit ribbon and it's a done deal.

Spellbinders dies, Copics markers and DCWV Rustic & Shimmer packs were also used in creating this card.

Twitterpated

Yes once again I am featuring the beautiful dsp Twitterpated from Stampin' Up! which is in the KIT I am offering. I used the Small Heart Punch to punch 10 tiny hearts. The dsp is two sided so you get a peek at both patterns here. This design could be a sunburst or just a hanging banner. Either way it's PDQ and CAS. The sentiment is from the Tea Shoppe stamp set also in the kit.

happy birthday was created for the weeMemories challenge #62 CAS. The stamps used are from Well Scripted and God's Beauty. They were both stamped with Versa Mark and embossed with White embossing powder. I used the Scallop Trim Border and matching Corner punches. The cardstock is Island Indigo and Whisper White.

The Sahara Sand cs is embossed then inked in Whisper White. When dry, I sanded the raised areas. I think I may need an ink refill for my white pad as Beate's card looked more like wood than mine. I still LOVE my card. I used a piercing tool and pierce the perimeter of my Sahara Sand cs. Then I hand stitched all the way around.

Snowflakes - Oh! Alice & wee Memories

Snowflakes - Oh! Alice #32 - Down the Rabbit Hole.Use a hole or circle on your project.  I chose a pre-cut card face for my project. I stamped the 3 snowflakes (flowers from Kaiser Craft CS720 Flowers set). I stamped 2 in pale blue and 1 in light grey. Then I head embossed with clear eb powder. I added the little siler stickers to the centers and attached to my cardstock. The 2 in the back are attached directly to navy cardstock. The one in the front is popped up on dimensionals and I added a little piece of silver twine to give it an ornamental feeling. I stamped Merry Christmas with the Satmipn' Up! Party Punch. I like the poast stamp look of it.

simply said from the heart, thank you - CAS - tastic Wednesday Challenge #009 - colors blue, yellow and neutral. My cardstock is Bazzill circle embossed testure. The neutral dp is from Sassafras, I loved the scalloped edging but it was on the wrong side for my purpose. So I cut the dp to fit my card with and then I scored along the edge of the scallops and folded it backwards so it showed on the right side for me. I tucked my satin ribbon under the scalloped flap and adhered it down. I added the three blue pearls from Zva. My image is from Stampin' Up! the Simply Said collection. I used my aqua painter and colored the flowers with Night of Navy and Summer Sun.

Happy Hoidays - MOJO135 CAS

Happu Holidays - MOJO MONDAY #135. This one is Clean And Simple. Lots of scraps here. From the stamped red cardstock top to the star punched border. The ribbon, buttons, scalloped circle, round circle and image are all scraps I had lying around. The Happy Holidays was already stamped on the red piece of cardstock.

Wonderful Mother - OA9

Wonderful Mother - for this Mother's Day themed card I used the sketch challenge at Oh! Alice. It's a pretty simple sketch but it does make for some beautiful creations! My daffodils are a digi from Pamela's Gallery. I colored the image with Copics and added some Signo white gel pen to highlight in spots. The daisies are stamped ont he barely banana with Rouge from ColorBox Chalk Ink as is the sentiment.

Always & Forever - Cinema Saturday Creative Challenge #73 - Sense and Sensibilty -CAS. This card also works for Stamps and Smiles Project Tuesday - diaper fold challenge. Someone left a comment stating I should enter this in the Creative Card Crew Challenge #47 - Vintage/Aged, so I did. :O)My designer papers are from K & Co. and they were just scraps I had leftover from 2001 (NO, I never throw anything away). :O)
