More Christmas

This card just came together in my mind. Then I quickly got it together in real life. It actually worked better than planned. The dsp is from The Paper Studio - There's No Place Like Home for the Holidays paper pack. I cut it 4 1/8" x 5 3/8". Then I used distress ink and inked it up. Set that aside. Then I stamped my bird  and pine images from Craftwork Cards Clear Stamps - Christmas Cheer. The sentiment is from Flourishes - Country Time Christmas. The bird was colored with color pencils and I layered over it some Wink of Stella clear.

I'm not positive but I believe this sentiment is from Unity Stamp Co.

I am working hard to get all my Christmas cards made before December 1, 2016!
I hope I get them all done.

Please COMMENT on my creations. I work hard. Lots of people visit but only a select 2 or 3 ever comment. I appreciate those folks so much. But it would be nice to hear from others as well. If you like what you see, please let me know. Even if you don't like what you see, comment. I can take the criticism.

CTD382

Today we are working with the ColorThrowDown color combo of
Hot Pink, Teal, Black and White. I stamped my Penny Black stamp in Momento Black onto my cs. Then I used Tim Holtz Distress inks to color my image and a fine tipped paint brush with water. I used Worn Lipstick for the flowers and a combination of Peeled Paint, Salty Ocean and Faded Jeans on the butterfly. The sequined lace is from Making Memories and the tassle was hand made using We R memory Keepers Sew Easy Floss. The sentiment is from Flourishes Botanical Bookplates Vol.I

Hope you like my card. If you're up for the challenge click HERE to go to the Color Throw Down #382.

CTD380

The Color Throw Down Color Challenge this week is red and gray.
For my card I used Cherry Cobbler cs and Real Red and Basic Gray ink. I also used Washi Tape and decorative vellum. The bicycle stamp is from Pink Paislee Nantucket and the sentiment is from Flourishes.

I love color and sketch challenges. They always make me think outside of the box.

Crazy4Challenges #223 - sketch.

I am crazy 4 challenges!!! I loved this sketch. So fun and I recently purchased a Grand Calibur machine and some new dies and embossing folders. The flourishes on my card are one of the "free" dies that came with my purchase. It's a tree. I just poked the trunks up underneath my panels, added some bows and seed beads and I'm lovin' it!
I sponged some SU Strawberry Slush ink and spritzed with some Old Olive ink mixed with alcohol, and Champagne Mist. I used my markers to dab ink onto my stamp and then huffed and stamped.

If you enjoy challenges or sketches or both, head on over to Crazy 4 Challenges.
