Crazy 4 Challenges #406
Anything goes!!! So I used some Stampin' Up! products along with a Stampabilities Stamp - Nativity. The combination of Stampin' Up! cs and die from A Night in Bethlehem Bundle makes for a beautiful z fold card.

Since I purchased this Bundle from Stampin' Up! I certainly have enjoyed creating with it.

I must admit, I haven't played in a challenge in quite some time. But I really liked the looks of the sketch over at Crazy 4 Challenges this week. It allowed an opportunity to play with some new (for me) stamps and some new and old dies.
Included are stamps from Stampin' Up!, some Spellbinders and Marianne Design Creatables Dies. The ink is from both Stampin' Up! and Ranger. The DSP and cardstock are from Stampin' Up! as well.

Crazy4Challenges #343 Lighthouse or Sea Inspired

Below is my card. I used the set #1083 Light of the World from Sweet n Sassy Stamps. Love this inspirational set from Korin Sutherland.

The image was stamped with Memento Black. Then colored with my color pencils. The frame was a scrap of white cardstock with the gold design embossed into it. I used me dauber and my SU! Midnight Muse and Island Indigo ink pads to give is some color. Then I added rhinestones for embellishment. The sentiment is also from the Sweet n Sassy set.

Crazy 4 Challenges #324 is a sketch. I cut my papers but somehow got the sketch flipped. Anyhoo, I am happy with the way this one turned out. Die cuts, stamping, punches and lace were all used on this one. Oh and that gorgeous DSP is from Stampin' Up! I am thinking Spring with this; Easter, Mother's Day or maybe get well. What say you?

Crazy 4 Challenges #311

Ok, for this one I started with watercolor paper. Stamped and embossed the trees. Then I sprinkled Bistre and Brushos onto the paper. I used a paper towel and a piece of plastic to mask off the lower portion of the paper then I spritzed with water. I waited for that to try. Then I masked the top portion and added green and yellow Bistre and Brushos to the bottom then I spritzed with water. 

I used Stampin' Up! XL Round Label punch and created my two little hot chocolate mugs. Added some Liquid Applique' for the whipped cream on my hot chocolate. :-)

Fall is my favorite time of year. I love Thanksgiving and spending time with my family.

Crazy4Challenges #291 -- Triptic. I have loved this stamp for such a LONG time. It's Stampin' Up! On the Grow set. I used my Prisma Color pencils to color. It is a fun little image to color. It totally puts me in the mood for summer fun. This card is entered in the C4C #291 challenge.

Crazy4Challenges #223 - sketch.

I am crazy 4 challenges!!! I loved this sketch. So fun and I recently purchased a Grand Calibur machine and some new dies and embossing folders. The flourishes on my card are one of the "free" dies that came with my purchase. It's a tree. I just poked the trunks up underneath my panels, added some bows and seed beads and I'm lovin' it!
I sponged some SU Strawberry Slush ink and spritzed with some Old Olive ink mixed with alcohol, and Champagne Mist. I used my markers to dab ink onto my stamp and then huffed and stamped.

Crazy4Challenges#177- sketch. I twisted the sketch. My image is a digital from Whimsy Stamps. Isn't she just the cutest little green fairy? I colored her entirely with Copics. Since Sunday is St. Patrick's Day I did her up all in green. Which was hard for me because my favorite color is GREEN so my green Copics are drying up from so much use. :O) Anyway, the sketch was fun and I loved coloring the image so I through this altogether and made my card.

SoftPencil Tuesday #22 - this time we are featuring some NEW digital images from SoftPencil, her Halloween collection. Love these little designs. So much fun to color!!!

I'm also entering this card in the Crazy 4 Challenges #152 - Halloween colors - purple, orange and green. Yep, I got it covered!

Michu takes flight on her little broomstick over the moon and the little bat has settled on the moon. With little black star brads for Michu's eyes and little round green brads for the bat's eyes this one is all about the images and the color combo.

Love this Cardinal scene. I stamped with Archiver's Black and then I colored with Pearls metallic paints, water and paintbrush on glossy cs.

This card is entered in the sketch challenge at Freshly Made Sketches #47. It's a nice sketch. I seem to have a hard time with their theme of "Fresh" though. I think I always overdo. I have to learn less is more. Anyhoo, here's my card and below it is the sketch.

Crazy 4 Challenges has us playing Bingo this week!

I'm still in the Halloween mode. I love this dsp from my stash. They have been "haunting" me for about a year. Get it! LOL

Anyhoo, for my creation I chose to follow the Bingo from top left to bottom right --- Square Card, Die Cuts and 2 or more dsp. My little ghostie is on a spring so he looks like he is floating out of the grave.

Crazy4Challenges94 - Hello Friend

Cindy Haffner is the hostess challenging us at Crazy4Challenges this month with a center step card. For my card I chose to use some of that YUMMY Stampin' Up! dsp Pocketful of Posies #122354. I really love this paper pack!! I also chose to use stamps from SU Silhouette Sentiments #120127 (was a hostess set) and Happy Greetings #123313 (from the Summer Mini catty). I added some decoration to the side panels with the Scallop Trim Border Punch #118402. On the inside of the card I more of the dsp and the Scallop Edge Borday Punch #119882.

Birds on a Bag - C4C90

Birds on a Bag - fits don't ya think?  When I saw the challenge at Crazy4Challenges this week I just pictured this little purse in cardstock with shiny brads. This bird stamp has been one of my favs since I bought it several years ago. All cardstock and inks are from Stampin' Up! - Basic Black & Crumb Cake cs. Basic Black, Bermuda Bay, Old Olive, Dusty Durango, Pumpkin Pie, and Daffodil Delight inks. Stitches were created with my Signo White Gel Pen. Once I uploaded the first two photos I realized my birds needed something. So I added highlights with my Signo.

This is what we got to use for inspiration this time. I want one!!!!

May Flowers - C4C86

May Flowers is the theme for Crazy4Challenges #86. This week it's make a floral card for May flowers. I chose to use some DSP and cardstock to create my little pinwheel flowers. These petal are halves of a 1" circle punch. It's all the same 2 sided dsp. I added a 1/2" circle punch in yellow. I hope you enjoyed seeing my creation for this challenge. It sure was fun to create. I've been really punch drunk the last few days. Stampin' Up! demos. have been teaching me how to use my punches for creating more than just the shapes they were meant for.

All I have seen teaches me to trust the Creator for all I have not seen. -- Ralph Waldo Emerson. Crazy4Challenges#82 - color combo of brown, green and cream. The stamps used on this card are from Stampin' Up! Because I Care (hydrangea) and sentiment All I Have Seen. I stamped the hydrangea in Old Olive and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. Then I colored with my SU markers - Wild Wasabi, Blush Blossom and Pink Pirouette. The sentiment is stamped in Pear Pizzaz.

dream - Inspired by Silke Kittman's Crazy4Challenges challenge this week - use a tree for International Earth Day. This card is just stamps that I have stamped several times on top of each other. I used some Sweet N Sassy stamps and a Unity stamp. The sentiment is from a stamp given to me by my friend Deb. I added the ribbon, Signo white gel pen and some little pearls. The background dp and die cut borders were also gifts from Deb. All ink is Stampin' Up! I distressed the edges with Tea Stain Vintage Ink Spot from SU.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY - C4C77

Everything Stampin' Up! but the dragonfly brad. This card was made using Silke's sketch from Crazy4Challenges #77. I just love the Ice Cream Parlor dps with the Happy Birthday Stamp from Afterthoughts Hostess set and the balloons from Crazy for Cupcakes set. I stamped them and then I used my Mahogany Vintage Ink Stop to add some shadows. The pink and yellow cs was embossed using the Petals A Plenty embossing folder.

Happy Birthday - CTD126 & C4C71

Happy Birthday - I love this color combo presented this week by The Color Throw Down ladies. This week it was Danielle who tossed these beauties at us: Early Espresso, Kiwi Kiss, Marina Mist and Old Olive. They just work sooo well together. This card could go feminine or masculine. As I don't often make masculine cards I think I'll keep this one for one of my male family members. The dp, cs, stamps and inks are all from Stampin' Up!

This card was created using the Sketch at Crazy4Challenges. It was a terrific sketch and it really enhances the color combo!

Thanks is for my neighbors who took care of Seamus and brought us homemade Chicken Pot Pie upon my release from the hospital. Thanks goes out to Mike & Brenda Williams for their wonderful kindness and their delicious pot pie!
