Unity Stamp Co monthly Challenge - October/November. Color Combo and/or sketch.
I used both the color combo and the sketch. Love the way this turned out. Let me just say, I stamped that precious little birdie 3 times before I finally got it right. NO it was NOT the stamp. You see I kept trying to die cut the little birdie image while my ink was still wet. Let's just say, it was not pretty and just when I was about to give up, I pulled out my handy dandy heat gun!!! So, all I can tell you is to Never Give UP!

The stamp and sentiment are of course from Unity Stamp Co - it's a stamp of the week WIB - 417 - Frosty Mornings & Lots of Snow - Bird. All the dsps are from Cosmo Cricket's Mini Deck : Parquet Miniature. All of the papers in this pack match the challenge colors perfectly!!!

Christmas Challenges with Sketches #93

Found this card design in a UK magazine, but all the measurements are in cm. So I asked my math genius (hubby) to help me suss it out in inches. I am thrilled that we were able to work it out! I think it makes a fabulous card. If you are interested in the measurements just leave me a comment. If I get enough requests I will post the measurements lower in this post.

Below is a closeup of the images I stamped. The deer is from Stampin' Up! the tree is from Unity Stamp Co. stamp of the week (September 30 through October 6). 

I tore some cs and made a snow drift and added some rhinestones to bling it up!

This one is for Color Throw Down #258 and MOJO MONDAY @ Verve #309 ---
I incorporated the sketch for the Verve challenge along with the color palette from the Throw Down.
Chocolate Chip
Sage Shadow
Kiwi Kiss
Old Olive
Whisper White.

The stencil is from Layers of Color. I daubed Sage Shadow, Chocolate Chip and Old Olive onto my Whisper White using the stencil. However, I should have planned my layout situation a little better as you can't see the Sage Shadow. I stamped SU En Francais onto Old Olive dsp and matted with a piece of Chocolate Chip CS. I stamped my focal image which is this week's Stamp of the Week from Unity Stamp Co.  I stamped it twice and punched out one of them to layer on top of my ribbon. My ribbon was white so I colored with the Sage Shadow.

Tuesday Morning Sketches challenge #180 

Unity Stamp of the Week - You make me steamy.

I stamped my image on patterned paper. Stamped the steam part of the stamp on some Real Red cs. Then stamped it again on the maroon cs. Then stamped just the lid portion on some Very Vanilla cs. I paper pieced the entire cup on to Real Red die cut cs.

I added some red gel glitter pen to the little hearts in the steam.

A heart brad some dsp and border punched shimmer cs, Stampin' Up! Gumball Green ribbon and the sentiment and this one is complete. Oh and please don't forget the Ranger Pearls!
