JFF

Hi There!

Well, I had a few evenings to play this week, just by my lonesome.
So I perused Pinterest to get some ideas and I came up with these cards.

This one was for my monochromatic board on Pinterest. This was all done in Stampin' Up! Hunter Green.

This was a sort of challenge proposed to me by my dear friend Debbie Segler

The card above was stamped with Versa Mark, then dusted with Perfect Pearls. Lovely.

This card was stamped using the same stamps and Versa Mark. Only this time I used embossing powder and heat embossed.

So I like both versions. However, if you use Perfect Pearls you need to use some sort of sealer so that when you pick up your card and you stick your thumb on the image you don't come away with half of the powder.
NOTE**** For both of these cards the stamping was done on SU! Vellum.

FMS192

I chose Night of Navy, Whisper White, and Daffodil Delight cs for my card. I Stamped the medium size star from Stampin' Up! set Bright & Beautiful on Whisper White with Versa Mark. Then I heat embossed Scotch Broom Yellow EP from Lindy's Stamp Gang ( I love Lindy's Stamp Gang eps because they have a little shimmer to them. Then I stamped my SU! sentiment in Versa Mark and heat embossed in White. Added a few rhinestones and called this one done!

If you'd like to play along with the challenge the inspiration is below and you can reach the site HERE.

FM189

Today's card was created using the sketch at Freshly Made #189.

For my card I handcut a tag from SU! Whisper White cs. I started out by stamping SU! Beautifully Baroque in Versa Mark onto my tag and heat embossing with clear embossing powder. I used Tim Holtz Dusty Concord distress ink to smudge onto my tag. Lighter in around the embossed image and darker around the edges. I used a SU! doily for my round element. I handcut a piece of scrap cs for my rub on sentiment. Rhinestones are from SU! I just colored them with my Sharpie markers. Added a scrap of ribbon and called this one complete!

Below is the inspiration for the challenge. If you like to play along just click HERE.

Masculine Bister Card

Using my Versa Mark pen and my circles stencils with white embossing powder I created the background. Then I sprinkle green and blue Bister onto the card. Then spritzed with water. The truck is a Deadbeat Designs stamp I colored with my Memento Markers and my silver gel pen.

I am quite pleased with the way this turned out.

More Bister

Today, I used Bister with a stamped image and at mask.
To begin, I stamped with flower onto cs using Versa Mark. Then heat embossed with white embossing powder. Then I punched a circle from another piece of cs and used it as a mask over my stamped flower. Then I sprinkled Red and Mahogany colored Bister on my piece. Spritzed with a little water and watched the magic happen. When it was dry, I used yellow and pink ink pads and sponges to work in the color on the flower. This one is now ready to make a card.
YouTube has several video tutorials on Bister. You just have to type in Bister into the search.
