Here I am again with more patriotic cards. These are for July's Independence Day. I have been commissioned by a little lady to make 30 4th of July cards. No 2 are exactly alike.

And they are all done and I am crazy about them all, if I do say so myself.

Little Tangles11

New Spellbinders Dies and my Tsukineko inks! Love these colors : Deep Lagoon, Spanish Moss, Toffee, and Imperial Purple. The die is so beautiful on it's own but when you cut with white cs and use these inks, they just enhance the die cute.

I added the swirl up top from New & Tangled stamp set My Heart Sings. Some Stampin' Up! pearls and a button and Voila! This card was created for the Little Tangles Challenge #11 EMBOSS IT! Go check out their blog and play along.

Neat N Tangled meets Stampin Up

Yes, my Neat & Tangled Stamps had a collision with my Stampin' Up! card kit! What a terrific collaboration!!! I just love it! Button and birds are from Neat & Tangled. The birds were stamped in Colorbox Archival Dye. They are colored with Copics: BG10, B14, R11, RV11, and RV13. Card base, twine and punched heart are all from Stampin' Up!

Stamping Challenges #8 - I love this sketch!

I chose to use a digital image from Dilly Beans to color. I added a scrap piece of dsp and then embellished both the scrap and the kraft cs with Ranger Pearls paint. I colored the image with Copics, added some button, twine and ribbon attached to my SU sentiment and called it a wrap.

MOJO MONDAY @ Verve #281 - I chose some very festive colors and dsp for my card today. Loved the colors in the dsp so I ran with them on my cupcakes and sentiment. I'm quite pleased with the way it turned out. I also spotted Libby Hickson's blog where she used a stick pin through the thread on her button so, Libbykins, I borrowed your idea.

I Spy a Color Throw Down

iSpy Sketch #124 & ColorThrowDown #200!

I loved the CAKE inspiration sooo much at Color Throw Down that I used the Chocolate Chip as my base coloe. Then I added the other colors in bits and pieces here and there as demonstrated in the iSpy Sketch. I love bright and cheery feel of this card and it would be so sweet as a Get Well or Happy Birthday card! Sometimes you may not feel comfortable with a busy sketch as this. So instead of using multiple patterns, stick to solids. But I like this chaotic mish mash of patterns, shapes and colors. Go For It!

Here's my take on the sketch.

I stamped my image with Versa Mark and colored with Copics. Added some Pearlized Smooch. The stamp set is from Stampin' Up! set Happiness Shared. I used the sentiment from the same set.

Tea Shoppe

Today I am featuring a card I created using the NEW kit I am offering.

This one is simple as pie! Stampin' Up! Products used:
CS -- Marina Mist, Very Vanilla, Whisper White
Stamps - Tea Shopper (in kit)
Ink - Island Indigo, Versa Mark
EP - white
EF - Elegant Bouquet
Ribbon - Baja Breeze Pleated Ribbon (in kit)
Buttons - Twitterpated two blue and one pink (in kit)
Charm - Trinket Hearts -- love (in kit)
Twine - white

My card is 4.125" w x 5.5" h. The Very Vanilla cardstock was cut at 4"w x 5.125" h and run through my Big Shot using the Elegant Bouquet embossing folder. Then using a dauber I rubbed the Island Indigo ink over the raised areas. Cut a piece of the pleated Baja Breeze ribbon at 5" and taped it around back of the Very Vanilla cs.

The tea cup was stamped in Versa Mark and heat embossed with white embossing powder. Then I used the dauber again and rubbed the ink around over whiping excess ink off. Then I craft cut the tea cup out. I attched the tea cup with Dimensionals foam adhesives. The I tied the little "love" charm on the handle with white twine. Tied some little bows of white twine in my buttons and attached them with glue dots.

This card was completed in about 25 minutes. Easy Peasy Lemon Squeazy.

Take It to Heart MOM10

Makeover Monday Challenge #10 with Paper Crafter's Library was to be inspired by the card on the right from Jessica Witty.

I don't think I fell too far off the mark with my Blushing Bride/Basic Black card. This card was created using the New Stampin' Up! set Take it to Heart which can be found in the NEW Occasions Mini Catalog  (pg. 14).The image was stamped in Versa Mark and heat embossed using black ep. I Also used the NEW HEARTS FRAMELITS which can also be found in the mini (pg. 6). My sentiment was created using one the Modern Label Punch and the Modern Label stamp from the Tea Shoppe set (pg. 19 in the mini)which is in the KIT I am offering. The small buttons are the Twitterpated buttons (pg.12) which are also in the KIT!
