Christmas filled with Joy & Laughter PPC-CC66

This one is for the current Picture Perfect Creations - Color Combo - Night of Navy, Crumb Cake and Whisper White. I added a little red satin ribbon just to add some brightness. Hope you like it!
I embossed the Night of Navy with my NEW ef from Stampin' Up! Northen Flurry, isn't it lovely!!!
I had to find some way to cool off in this scorching Texas heat!

I enjoy playing alond with PPC-CC especially because the color combos ALWAYS make me think outside the box.

PPC-CC63

Just for You... - at first look, my card for PicturePerfectCreations-ColorCombo might look like a gate fold card when in all actuality it is a bookmark card.Basic Grey cardstock was cut at 10 1/4 " x 5 1/2". Then I scored at 4 1/2" and I scored and perforated at 2 3/4". The color palette for this challenge is Basic Grey, Poppy Parade and Whisper White. I wrapped ribbon at an angel arount the red adhering it to the back. Then I border punched the grey and added a piece of white border punched across the upper portion of the card and put a piece of crocheted lace on top. Added a couple of red rhinestones. I stamped my sentiment in Poppy Parade using the Four Frames set  and Hodgepodge Happiness set in Sahara Sand. For the bookmark I stamped Bliss set in sahara Sand and  sentiment in Poppy Parade. This is a gift for my sis in law who is a librarian and LOVES to READ. Her birthday is July 6th. Oh I added a yoyo ribbon flower to the bottom protion of my card front.

Along for the Ride - PPC-CC60 -- WINNER!

WINNER OF GRAND CREATIONS #60 @ PicturePerfectCreations-ColorCombos!!!

Along for the Ride is a rub-on sentiment. I cut equal pieces of Stampin' Up! Blushing Bride, Elegant Eggplant and Crumb Cake to basket weave this design for my card. I added a border sticker from Stampin' Up! Nursery Suite quick accents #118709. I punched different aspects of the triple layer punches and mounted then one on the other with Dimensional adhesives (punches Doily #122465 and Blossom Bouquet #122464. Pear Pizzaz is my base cardstock. This card was created for the PicturePerfectCreations-ColorCombo #60 - Pear Pizzaz, Blushing Bride, Crumb Cake and Elegant Eggplant. The ribbon is Blusing Bride striped grosgrain from Stampin' Up!

Bliss - I created this card using dsp from Stampin' Up! collections - Paisley Petals and Sprintime Vintage.
The color combo for Picture Perfect Creations - Color Combo is Not Quite Navy, Baha Breeze, Very Vanilla, and Pear Pizzaz. The ribbon is also SU Baha Breeze. SU cardstock used: Not Quite Navy and Very Vanilla. SU ink pads: Pear Pizzaz and Not Quite Navy. SU stamps: Bliss and Four Frames. SU punch: Decorative Label. SU bling: Basic Rhinestones. My card was designed using the MOJO Monday challenge #188 sketch.

bring on the cake - PicturePerfectCreations-ColorCombo#54 - Basic Black, Melon Mambo, Blushing Bride, and Whisper White. I've used more of that discontinued dsp from Stampin' Up! I love this paper and I am going to use up every little smidgeon until it is all gone. So I hope you won't get tired of seeing it!
The stamps used on this card are from Bring on the Cake, Crazy for Cupcakes, Sweet Scoops and Perfect Punches. I've also incorporated several SU punches and a portion of the Top Note die. The reason the sentiment isn't showing up so well is because I stamped it then I heat embossed it with clear embossing powder and the light is reflecting off of it.

Springtime - PPC-CC52

sending Springtime smiles - This card was made using the Easter Blossoms set #122057. This set is available in the Occassions Mini Catalog from Stampin' Up! It's a lovely set and I have been drooling over it ever since the catty came out. I finally got my set today!!! So of course inking it up didn't take long.
I created this card using the color combo at Picture Perfect Creations - Color Combo #53 - Tangerine Tango, Elegant Eggplant and Always Artichoke. These colors really do play well together and I am loving how my card turned out. I used dsp from Play Date #117168. The white portion of the card was embossed with the Finial Press eb folder #115963. My sentiment was stamped onto Whisper White then I used the Designer Label Large Punch #119862 to punch it out. I also punched the same label punch in Always Artichoke and then I cut it in four places and used it as a matte for my sentiment.

happiness always & Happy Easter - PPC-CC50 DT

Here are my two creations for the Picture Perfect Creations - Color Combo Challenge #50 - Early Espresso, Peach Parfait, & Pretty in Pink. Sometimes I really suck at these color combo challenges. Other times they just fall right into line. This one was a challenge for me, mostly because I didn't have anything Peach Parfait. So I matched it as closely as I possibly could. The second card was actually my 1st attempt. I liked it but found I wasn't "IN LOVE" with it. The first card was done last and I found I "Loved" it just a little bit more. :O)

just a note - ICS96 & PPC-CC

Ok, you may recognize this lovely little birdie. I think it's my new favorite stamp. Wings of Friendship is a RETIRED Stampin' Up! set. I stamped in Early Espresso and heat embossed. Then I used my ink pads in Tempting Turquoise, Tangerine Tango, and Always Artichoke with my aqua painter to color the image. I stamped the single flower from the same set in Only Orange then colored with the Tangerine Tango. The sheet music dp as is the flourish dp in the back. The ribbon dp is the flip side of the sheet music. I had some little punched tags and I stamped just a note from the All Year Cheer III set, then I distressed it with some Early Espresso ink.
This card was created using the color combo from Picture Perfect Creations - Color Combo#44 - Tempting Turquoise, Always Artichoke, Chocolate Chip (didn't have any so I used Early Espresso instead), and Tangerine Tango. It was designed using Inspirational Card Sketch#96. Both were interesting challenges for me. The colors, at first didn't look like they would play well together. Guess I was wrong. The sketch presented some problems when it came to punching the Acanthus Leaf border. But I think I worked it all out.

Happy New Year! - Picture Perfect Creations - Color Combo#43 - Rose Red, Night of Navy, Pear Pizzazz. I ran some Whisper White cs through my Cuttlebug with my Ornamental Iron ef. The Fluer de Lis is from Layers of Color. It's colored with Stampin' Up! markers. The sentiment is a Stampin' Up! stamp from All Year Cheer III.

PPC-CC42 - Always

This was a fun color combo from Picture Perfect Creations - Color Combo #42 - Deligthful Daffodil, Garden Green and Basic Gray. I wish I could tell you where the dp came from but all I had to work with were scraps. The flowers were stamped using Deligthful Daffodil ink. They are from SU set Eastern Blooms colored with Delightful Daffodil marker and punched. They are raised on dimensional adhesives. The sentiment is from SU Always set # 113620 in Old Olive ink.

MOJO168 & PPC-CC41

MOJO MONDAY #168 and  Picture Perfect Creations - Color Combo#41 -- Cajun Craze, Certainly Celery, Cherry Cobbler and So Saffron. The focal point piece was cut from SU Deck the Halls collection dp with a peony die. Then I traced that die and cut around it to make a matte for my focal piece. I used some Layers of Color stencils and my Stampin' Up! inks - Cajun Craze, Pear Pizzaz, and Cherry Cobbler to daube some color on the So Saffron dp.
